Best SIPP Providers UK 2026
Official fee schedules, investment ranges, dealing costs and retirement options support this nine-provider comparison. A separate sample of 2,281 valid financial modelling records from SIPP Calculator shows provider consideration.
AJ Bell
AJ Bell is my best overall SIPP for 2026. Its £120 annual shares and ETFs cap, broad investment range and no extra flexi-access drawdown fee make it the strongest all-round choice.
Hargreaves Lansdown
Hargreaves Lansdown delivers strong support, research and investment choice, but fund investors pay £350 a year at £100,000 versus £250 at AJ Bell and £71.88 on Interactive Investor Core.

Vanguard
Vanguard suits a portfolio built entirely from its funds and ETFs. Other managers, individual shares or investment trusts require a broader platform.
Interactive Investor
Interactive Investor is my leading large-pot SIPP: its £179.88 Plus subscription costs 0.072% of £250,000, includes drawdown and supports a broad investment range.

Fidelity
Fidelity suits fund investors who want thousands of funds with no fund dealing fee, plus a £90 annual cap for exchange-traded holdings and drawdown without a separate standard fee.
Aviva
Aviva's 0.35% platform charge comes to £875 at £250,000 and £1,750 at £500,000. Its broad range and retirement support must justify that price on a larger pot.
InvestEngine
InvestEngine is the lowest-cost ETF-only SIPP I assessed. Its DIY account has no platform or dealing fee, but the restricted investment range and paper-based retirement process make it an accumulation specialist rather than a complete pension platform.
Freetrade
Freetrade combines a free Basic-plan SIPP with commission-free shares, ETFs, investment trusts, funds and gilts. Its £240 UFPLS charge and lack of ongoing drawdown prevent it from matching the best all-round pension platforms.
